discussions were resumed at Tokyo on 11th

(see below) the Japanese have accepted the
greater part of the draft submitted by us, 12okyo

wireless the present draft provides for the
continuance of a long wave Chinese station and
a short wave American station, and also for the
retention of the British shipping company's
wireless telephones for use between Tientsin and
Tangku, and between the latter place and ships
outside the Bar Shanghai telegram No. 1371 of
His Majesty's Ambassador at
14th December;
Tokyo has also been instructed to endeavour to
secure the retention of one of the company's
wireless telegraph stations in the British
Concession Telegram to Tokyo No. 869 of 92nd
